The Forum of Private Business was established in 1977 based on the model of the CFIB (Canadian Federation of Independent Business) which was itself based on the model of the NFIB (National Federation of Independent Business) in the United States of America.
FPB is a not-for-profit pressure group, driven by its membership. We represent over 25,000 businesses in the UK who between them employ 600,000 people. FPB offer a wide range of business solutions and benefits to help our membership grow successfully and profitably. We provide them with a strong and clear voice, through representing their business interests at local, national and European government levels and to key policy makers.
