What is it?
Prompt Payers (PPs) are members of an international credibility register that are able to prove that trustworthiness, efficiency and honesty are an integral part of the goods or services they sell.
How does it work?
Businesses sign up, choosing a day rating according to how long it takes them to pay their bills ( longest allowed term is 45 days.) Businesses will be licensed to advertise their rating position and carry the appropriate PP logo on all their stationery.
What if a business fails to keep to its rating?
The scheme is run according to strict rules. All breaches of a day rating are investigated. The Partnership has the right to revoke licences and, where necessary, instigate legal proceedings.
How will it help my business?
Increasing numbers of consumers are choosing purchasing power as a way of voting with their feet. In an economic climate where business credibility is worth as much, if not more than business credit. It pays to promote your company's good business practice.
Businesses need to have a solid financial foundation if they are going to pay all their bills on time. If your company is able to settle invoices promptly, you will be telling the world that your business is successful.
Your suppliers will prefer to do business with you. When in competition for the best suppliers, your company will be preferred to businesses with no PP rating. A PP rating is a shorthand way to prove that, in business, your word is your bond.
How much does it cost?
Membership starts from just £5 per month plus one off initial registration fee of £25 (discounts available for annual payment and business networks) for business which turnover less then £100k per annum.
How can my company join?
You provide us with three trade references, or an accountant's letter to prove you meet the day rating of your choice, we will provide you with a licence, the appropriate logo and a certificate. Your company will be added to the daily updated list marked pending.
